Once again, Fables has been nominated for an Eisner Award for "Best Continuing Series" (Fables, by Bill Willingham, Mark Buckingham, Steve Leialoha, Andrew Pepoy et al. (Vertigo/DC)). The Awards will be given out on Friday, July 23, at Comic-Con International in SanDiego. A full list of the nominees can be found here.

Also, on sale this week is Dan DeCarlo's Jetta, collecting all of Dan DeCarlo's (and other creators') work on the wacky adventures of Jetta, a teen-ager in the future as seen when these were created in the 1950s. This is the first volume in editor Craig Yoe's "The Good Girl Art Library", published through IDW Publishing. Besides the classic comics, there are 37 new pin-ups of Jetta done by a wide variety of modern creators.
